I have been seriously bbq/smoking for about 10 years. I have a 1 off custom rig. I have been doing word of mouth side gig catering for a long time. Its time for me to get serious about it.
Here is where I need help. My main smoker will be heading to my alumn HS weld shop for some upgrades and a trailer overhaul. I feel like I've got that covered. However, I have a 275 gal heating oil tank I'd like to have them fab up for me into a wood fire grill. Dont plan on running an offset fire box or anything, just a simple wood fire grill to supplement my large smoker.
Does anyone have some experience building one? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Plans, dimensions, words of wisdom are all welcome.

Here is my smoker. Plan to put it on a new trailer with the planned grill perpendicular to it and standing upright.
