Happy Phriday, Phu! I am ashamed to admit I hadn't planned anything even though the weather is supposed to be great. I'm thinking swordfish and ahi steaks (again) if nothign else comes to mind.

I'm thinking beef kalbi, these threads on it lately are killing me! Maybe smoke a frozen butt, too, after that latest discussion. Have fun everyone!

Happy Phriday, Phu and everyone! Smoked chicken wings and thighs for me tonight on the WSM! Gonna cook snow or shine! Farkin snowing right now!!

Update: Looks like I'll be adding a 10lb brisket on the WSM tomorrow! Found a decent brisket for a decent price without ordering it. Couldn't pass it up!

I hope to smoke some salmon in the next few days if all goes well. Other than that, I just smoked a pork butt and will probably use the leftovers for something quick.

Prime grade brisket on my new LSG vertical offset. Have worked up from chicken to ribs in order to get figure out fire management, etc......now putting the big boy on the smoker. Will cook at 275*.

Gonna be 60 degrees tomorrow in Eureka, KS. Got two St. Looey slabs in the fridge, and a big pile of Q wood ready to stoke the Preacher's Pit. Almost like a day of spring, and the wisp of thin blue on the air. Ain't life great?

BTW - gonna take those slabbies' to New York (not the City) to see my family. Who ever heard of decent Q in New York?

When it's going to be 40 degrees on a January Saturday in Wisconsin, one must smoke something. Since I smoked chicken 11 times the last 11 weeks, I'm going to change it up and throw on a pork butt, two slabs of ribs, and some beef ribs on the Lang.
