Loving this Vortex thing. Wanted something simple for dinner last night. Poured some coals in the vortex, light and wait 20 minutes, toss chicken on, rotate lid every 15 minutes 90 degrees and you have dinner. Super tender, crispy skin.
Son trimmed the skin which backfired due to shrinkage. (It was cold outside) On the other hand, it was like a crispy chip on top and very tasty. Maybe we can pass that along as gourmet?
