View Full Version : Injector envy

After a friend of mine showed up to help with a church cook with a beautiful stainless steel injector and my wimpy $3 grocery store injector finally broke (coincidetally on the same day), I decided it was time to get a good one.

Called it an early Christmas and ordered a spitjack. Now to find something to inject the bejeezus out of just because.

Spitjack injectors are great. I like mine a lot.

I am pondering a new one myself, which one did you pick?

I like the Magnum but it looks like it only holds 2 oz of injection

Did the magnum. Didnt get all the extras. Just the case.

Wife thinks it is just another excuse to get something gun shaped.

Nice! I have one too and it is nice for some of the bigger job. I actually have a bunch of injectors since I seem to have multiple of every gadget. So I have the cheapo small ones, the air pump one and the spitjack. I find the smaller needles work good for of course smaller meats (chicken, smaller loins), but the spitjack is nice for larger things and is easy to use and reload. Gotta have a tool for every occasion :-D

Over $100 with shipping, wow! I hope it lasts a lifetime. I really like my BDI injector. It's plastic but gets the job done very quickly.

I got mine just before Thanksgiving... I'm a believer.

I just bought the blue one (think it's called sure shot?) from big poppa smokers. Works great but needles are a bit short.

If you have a tractor supply near by you can get basically the same thing for $23 there.
