A closer look at the door fittings. This is where the 2 doors meet.

There have been a few threads from time-to-time asking about BellFab cookers. I'm very pleased so far. I like that the flanges are internal, which leads to a nice clean look on the outside. It seems very well made - all from 3/8" steel. I fired it up the other day to season it, and the smoke exited the stack with a good amount of force. Once I get my thermometers (any day now), I'll get it fired up for a cook.

If anyone cares to look at all the pics, the album is here. (http://s12.photobucket.com/user/jpeisen/library/Bellfab%20cooker?sort=2&page=1)

Congratulations on your new Bell. It really looks great. I can't wait to see some cook pics off of her. I know you're going to enjoy it. Craig does a wonderful job.

I wish Craig and Bell Fab could get some more exposure for his great product.

I think we were warned about people like you.. :biggrin1:

Well, OK then... Still waiting on my thermometers, which seem to be taking in the sights on their way here. They spent the weekend just outside St. Louis, and arrived in KC today. There is no expected delivery date.. maybe I'll see them sometime soon. So much for standard shipping at Christmastime..

Anyway, our cat decided to wake us early yesterday, and a local grocery had butts on sale, so I decided to cook a couple. Dusted one with Oakridge Competition Beef and Pork Rub from my sampler pack, and left the other >gasp< naked. Took some pics -- I believe this was about 4 hrs in. Was keeping the temp a bit high due to the late start and evening plans..

Then closer looks at each:
