Been fired up for hours. Cleaning burn on the kamado so no food right now. Probably make some fresh buns for sandwhichs later today and cook pork Saturday into Sunday for pulled pork. I want to try making homemade coleslaw too.

I want to make everything from scratch this weekend.

Hopefully I'll be able to talk my wife into letting me cook a brisket tomorrow. It will be three weekends in a row.

Couple of tri-tips going on later today. They are trimmed, rubbed down, and ready to go. They will go on at 225, over some pecan.

Put this venison pastrami on to smoke yesterday. Have it in the oven in a steam bath now. 8.5 pound butt at 150 internal right now. Add four loaves of home made rye bread and we have tonight's neighborhood Christmas party.
