She's pretty for sure. I love mine. She's smaller than your 60, but lot's of fun. Congratulations and be sure to get your fatty on there to break her in!

Good looking cooker you got there. You are going to love cooking on it. I have a smaller version and its a dream to cook on. My WSM has been feeling lonely.

I think you've got it. I leave the pinwheels wide open. I just usually close the door to keep the wind out. I like to start the fire up near the FB door and work it towards the back over the cook time. The Lang is a joy to use.

Congrats on the new Lang! I have a question. What does the added daisy wheel on the fire box door do?

12-08-2015, 07:49 PM
it allows cool air over top fire to push heat into the chamber, Im surround by fences and big oaks all side property so dont get good air flow so an idea see if it would keep air moving into the chamber.

many keep there grease drains open ,besdes draining grease what are the other reasons?

60's are fun. An old friend of mine from Lansing, MI had (might still have) painted for MSU. He used to tailgate with it. Great cooker!

If I were to buy a stick burner I would look real hard into a Lang 60. Especially with the short lead time. Nice cooker!

Beautiful. I picked up a used 60 Deluxe a couple of weeks ago to replace my 48.
I'd be interested in hearing how effective the added pinwheel is. Good luck with it.
