Now all I have to do is wait for it to deliver to Alaska. Chad said it should take approximately 6 days for the cooker to ship to Kent, Washington. Once it arrives, the cooker will be put on a boat and sailed to Alaska. Its going to be a long 2-3 weeks, but I can see the end of the road.:becky:

Congratulations on the new asset, It'll last you a lifetime. The sub-zero temps will have no effect on the smokers ability to cook.

That's awesome, build some skids on it and pull it all around from village to village in the snow! The Santa Claus of smoked meat. But really skids would be helpful where you are.

I ordered the Pint with 8in wheels, 6 racks, drop in fire pan and heavy-duty heat diverter. I also got the side shelf, BBQ guru thingy with a 25cm fan. I am hoping that I made the right choices, but my budget wouldn't support much more once I factored in the shipping.

At 350lbs, I don't plan on pulling it very often. I cannot wait! I will (hopefully) sell my other four smokers once it arrives. I was looking for my 'forever' smoker... hopefully I found it!

I believe the date was 21 SEP 15. Not too bad, but long enough. :)

You have chosen wisely. I love my Pint. It's not difficult to move around at all.

Exactly! Let us know how many reindeer you can cook at one time.

Nope. I thought about it, but in the end couldn't justify the purchase. I am a backyard BBQ'er and my budget was already stretched. I ended up paying more than I originally planned by adding a few additional items, but I absorbed the additional cost by officiating more hockey games.

The only thing I am second guessing is the drop-in water pan. My thought was that I could put the water tray on a piece of metal and save the 100.00 dollars, but now I'm not so sure.

I spent a lot of money (to me) on this smoker... when it arrives, pictures will definitely be coming!:-P
