On our way back from the SYR airport today, the wife and I stopped at Dinosaur BBQ in downtown Syracuse. Always good. Went with the ribs, since I'm doing a brisket this weekend.

i'm an hour south of Syracuse, so Dinosaur was my first intro to real smoked BBQ, and still probably the best i've had. i love their ribs, and sometimes their brisket can be amazing but other times it's just ok. i like their habanero BBQ sauce better than their other ones, and their sides are great too, especially their mac n cheese.

I've been to all of the Dino sites, including the first one in Harlem, although there were more suits and ties in it than in a funeral parlor. The food is always beyond comparison and when they have it, the music is good too.
I hit the Rochester site once a week.
