Started with some dandy beef short ribs. Smoked at 175 for a few hours then seared in a smokin hot dutch oven

Deglaze with some red wine and beef stock. Everybody in the pool!! Started out to be a beef bourguignon at the store but, turned into this by the time all said and done.

First post on here with this new computer... hope it works!!

Is that your normal beef bourguignon recipe other than the smoking? Beef bourguignon is one of my favorites but I have never tried it smoked or with short ribs. Looks great! Im cooking for some friends today and my try this.

The addition of the smoked itialian sausage pushed it a little too far. Still turned out very well. The smoke played very nice with the richness of the stock. Also added smoked paprika and cayenne for a little more nod to the BBQ gods;) Ribs Tomorrow!!:becky::becky:
