Very cool! OBR is probably the only aid organization on the planet that knows they'll need mustard based sauce for this one.

What sort of insurance would a volunteer need to have?

I'm not aware of any insurance requirements, but check on the OBR web site.

Thank you for that donate link Ron L. I did what I could for our Brothers and Sisters in the Great State of South Carolina and urge others to contribute. Sorry I can't help what's going to happen to the Gamecocks this Saturday since they moved to game to Baton Rouge though. ;D

I registered a long time ago and can't remember any of my login information to sign up to volunteer. I'm about 1 1/2 hrs away and have time off of work to help. I have sent an email to them, can anyone tell me a quicker way to get my info so I can help out.

The SC band is not traveling to Baton Rouge but the LSU band will play all the SC fight songs etc. All ticket sales and proceeds after stadium expenses are going to USC. The Gamecocks will be the home team.

I had a lot of fun today, worked my arse off but it was a lot fun and I enjoyed getting to help out. Blythewood BBQer is one hard working man along with everyone that was there. It was an honor for me to able to do it.

This is Duke, he is the head man over the crew there. Outstanding person, had everything under control and had fun doing it.

If you can donate please do. They are doubling up on meats since the demand is so high. I'm stopping by to put some cash in hand and give some snacks and drinks to the volunteers. Thanks in advance if you can spare a bit.

Since work is in the way of me volunteering I've made a donation.

Please, if you can spare it, help our state through OBR.

Thank you brother for stopping by and helping out the volunteers.

Folks, even if you can't help out, a small donation will help. $20 will help feed 20 people! Where else can you feed someone for a $1 per person?

WOW! OBR just posted that they fed 3800 meals today! Brings the two day total up to 6000! And with the additional teams that showed up they plan on doing 6000 tomorrow! Way to go OBR!

OBR has decided to stay here through Wednesday, and are looking at setting up another location in Charleston possibly. I'll probably get one more day to volunteer on Tuesday. They fell short of their 6000 meals today because we got another inch or two of rain. They were able to get out 4400 meals today. Puts their total amount of meals to 10400 in three days. Way to go OBR!

Operation BBQ Relief wrapped up it's deployment in Columbia today. In 5 days they provided over 20000 meals to the victims of the floods and first responders. They set up another site in the low country in Summerville SC. Thank you Operation BBQ Relief for what you did here! Great job!
