How long will a frozen Boston Butt keep in the freezer without losing flavor?

I have two butt in the freezer for a month. When I got them, I put them in vacuum bags. Going to smoke one of them next week. I'll let you know how it turns out. I have found that vacuum bags are great. I normally buy my meat in bulk, so I use vacuum packing a lot.

Depends. If in the original cryovac or vacuum seal it, I've kept mine 6 months without a problem. I haven't tried longer than that as we normally go through them pretty quick.

I smoked a butt a couple weeks ago that got buried like BluDawg's for 14 months. It was really good. Maybe not as good as fresh but they would have had to have been side by side to tell the difference.

This question pops up often and if I remember correctly how the meat is wrapped will determine the future quality. I think cryovac is the best way and will allow storage for well over a year with little to no loss of flavor. If just in a plastic bag I guess a couple months?
