My cousin brought over a brisket this morning, so we trimmed it up and tossed it on the cooker. Then it was onto making some breakfast.

Sliced up some scrapple and tossed it on the Blackstone

While that was cooking, I mixed up some pancake batter...
Laid them out on the griddle...

That's a 36" griddle... really need to work on portioning these bad boys out.
Here's my plate - I got through about half of that stack...

Time for another nap! I love vacation.

Nice way to start your day! Seems like a good idea to me. When its time to fire up the smoker will also be time to fire up breakfast on the black stone as well!

Thats why I call owning a Blackstone, "The 50 pound club" cause I could eat 1/2 a dozen of those good lookin pancakes. I.m gonna gain 50 pounds.

Rubbed in SM Cherry.
Cooked at 275ish for 7 hours then wrapped in paper.
Kept cooking for another three hours, pulled it, panned it, and tossed it in the cooler for about an hour.

Soul food from PA and MD. I had it a few times while I was working up there over the years. It's pretty good but you really don't want to know what's in it.

I try not to think about it too much... but it is delicious...

Pork Stock, Pork, Pork Livers, Pork Skins, Yellow Corn Meal, Pork Hearts, Whole Wheat Flour, Pork Tongue, Salt, Buckwheat Flour, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Diacetate, Wheat Flour, Spices, Dextrose, Flavoring.

I like it cut thick and fried till the outside is crispy. Some places will throw it in a deep fryer.
