Did these a few days ago, first the beef. It was on sale at Ingles.

Next the bacon, left over from the Mens Retreat.

Got out the ole Kitchen Aid, my Mother gave me, She bought it in the mid 50s. Sliced up the beef, course ground it, and the bacon.

Added some peppers and onions, then spiced them up with magic dust.

And onto the Acorn at 300

That didn't take long. I had put one small piece of cherry in. That gave the burgers a hint of smoke

Yah, they were good, I'll do this again.

If your ever in the Athens area of Georgia, let me know, we'll do some friendly Brethren chatting and definitely some eating.

Oh man..I am SOOOO jealous.

My pork shoulder likely won't be ready in time for dinner...I could really stand a couple of those burgers of yours!!!

Thanks everyone. I'm going back to grinding my own meat from now on.
Lately I've been getting more bone chips and mystery meat wherever I buy the burger from, 80/20 is still 20% something else. Also I can make it more to my taste.
