Well...I've made enough Phatties but from scratch because they don't sell breakPhast sausages like that in TheNetherPharkinglands.

Couple of months ago during a comp Brethren SmokeMaster1 brought me Phour diPherent Jimmy Dean Phlavours.
He has access to an US army base in Germany where they supply US goodies.

Must say...tasted pretty good!
For my taste it could've been a bit less salty...otherwise...good stuPh!

The Phatties were supposed to be a starter last Phriday...I threw them on too late and main course was allready done.
Main coarse was pulled pork, baked beans, mac 'n cheese and coleslaw.
Ribs also didn't happen that evening...everybody was stuPhed aPhter the main course.

So eventually the breakPhast sausage ended up like a.....breakPhast sausage the next day.:becky:
Spelt bread toast,mayo,bacon,runny egg,cheese,Phatty.

BTW...Simply Marvelous rubs I can get over here because my teammate Hugo imports it from Brethren Big Brother Smoke...the maple syrup is from Brethren Diesel Dave which I got from Brethren CharredApron.

That is awesome Phu! When I lived in Maastricht I'd do the same thing! Made friends with two NATO special forces guys who were stationed there and came into the pub I worked in. They had a car and we would head into Germany to US base and hit up the Commissary. I was shocked, shocked I tell you to find.....ribeye steaks from the US for US prices, about 5 bucks each!!!! They had never seen a true ribeye before so I scooped up 6 steaks every visit for steak night at my flat before we would head out to the bar that night. They declared it the best steak they had ever tasted, and I believe it. Such a great hook-up, especially since I was missing my home food. I got access to bbq sauce, ranch dressing, ketchup that didn't have curry in it, everything I was missing from home for US prices. Awesome!

The salt thing is getting to be a problem here for me. For some reason it seems the salt content in sausage is going up. I used to use store bought sausage in a lot of recipe's but now have had to switch to a sausage made at a local butcher shop which is way less salty
