Met Paul and Tyler Saturday morning to take possession of my 24X65 Cabinet Model Trailer! Paul and Tyler are two incredible people. They were patient with my inability to make up my mind on what I wanted and were quick to offer ideas that might help. One in particular was I wanted lots of storage on the trailer. Paul suggested setting the cooker 6" off center to add more room in the storage area behind the cooker. This worked great and had no impact on the balance of the trailer. Pulled it back to NC running 70 mph most of the way and it never wiggled.

Got her seasoned on Saturday night and loaded her up on Sunday with Butts, Ribs, Chicken and ABT's. Pics to follow.

Shirley Fabrication Cookers rock? If you are on the fence about ordering one, get off the fence and move forward! You will not regret the decision.

Nice smoker, as they all are.

I wonder who on here bought the first one and let everyone know about the excellent workmanship? There sure have been a lot of them sold to brethren since then. I wish one of them had been sold to me. The wife would shoot me if I came in with another pit. She doesn't think I need all of the ones I have now. She may be right, but I will never admit to it.

Isn't that just the way it is Mr. Shirley??? Whatever a man does for a living, he never finds the time to do it for himself. Somebody on here needs to build this man a cooker!

That is about right.. We had a big unit and i sold/ bout gave it away... I was having on of those days.... And was feeling like a giving mood.. I let a man get it for 4500$$$ ... He was fixing to start catering... Figured i would help him out... Building me a smaller.. More managageable unit real soon...

That's great.. I would love a drum ... There is a place about 10 miles from me that sells unlined drums... Looks like i would get off my backside and at a bare minimum... Build me a uds..... I may be getting lazy.... .... Thought on my new smaller unit i am designing to incorporate a drum into the build... I am afraid this small unit i am thinking of... Is getting bigger and bigger .... It is a sickness... I just cant help it... My buddy told me i would have to build 3 or 4 before i was happy... I thought he was crazy... But i think he is more sane than me... Lol.....

It is a sickness, I accept it, my wife will razz me but accepts it. No matter how many things I build/built. There is always room for a tweak or mod to make it better. :becky: :doh:
