After the smoked wings thread and the mentioning of this alabama white sauce I had to give it a try(and some drummies). I did them two ways. One set with my usual HDD and franks sauce and the other with plowboys yardbird and finished in alabama white sauce. Both done indirect at 250ish for an hour then on high heat to crisp up. Sorry for the crappy night pics, phone was low on battery so no flash, hate that feature(especially since I have a 10000mah battery so 15% is like 24 hours of battery life, should probably mod it). Anyways, on to teh birds!
Rummaging through my bag of lump I found this monster. It was about 12"x4", biggest chunk I've crossed.

Birds rubbed up. Closest to is the plowboys, distant is the hdd.

Here they are after an hour. The close drums are semi seared cause I dropped my other grate on them, whoops.

Onto the gasser for a quick sear to crisp them up. I dunked the plowboys in the white sauce before putting them on.

Here they are done but didnt toss the back ones in franks yet. Closest to you are the white sauced ones.

They turned out great. Can't ever go wrong with hdd wings but the white sauced chicken was fantastic. It might be goto from now for chicken legs. Great flavor with the plowboys. I recommend everyone giving them a try even if you think the sauce doesn't sound appealing. My wife wasn't thrilled after hearing the ingredients but she loved it too. Give it a try and thanks for lookin!
