Ok that didn't work! Why are my pics so ridiculously huge?

I quoted your post & see PhotoBucket......

There's an auto re-sizer feature there in the "personal info" area....

Go to the little head silhouette at the top on right, click, choose "settings", choose from there "albums", scroll down to "Upload Options" & click "customize"....pick which size you want (I use 640 x 480 which isn't huge, 600 x 800 might be good) & test it out with "preview" before your actual post........

P / B doesn't always do what it says it will, so if it does not work right, re-size BEFORE sending to PhotoBucket, OK?

If you use Windows, you can resize in Paint.
