I am cooking for about 25 on Sat for a get together. I am smokin Turkey breasts on the bone. Any sugg on times for the poultry based on a temp of 275* - 300*?? I pla on checking temp periodically and pulling them off at 170* but an estimated time would help through the hetic schedule. Thanks all for past, present and future advice..:mrgreen:

breasts only?? , about 30 mins/lb at 275-300.

I would not bring a breast to 170.. 160 at most.. and let it rest loosly covered and it will continue to climb close to 170. If u remove at 170 it will climb to 180 or better and be tough/dry.

Don't want tough and dry. already have that in an ex wife. Want it nice and tender like my current mrs. Thanks for your input Phil.:mrgreen:

Probably not more than four hours but temp is the key.
