Well boys and girls...I'm happy to report that things on the home-front have improved greatly. I thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers.

So, with that said, I'm dusting off the pit and smoking 2 briskets, six fatties, some ribs and a turkey this weekend. Pics of the process will follow at some point.

Man! It's amazing what a happy homelife and the anticipation of the smell of hickory smoke can do to a guy's spirits.

Ah, the smell of smoke in the early morning hours. Coffee in one hand and a log of Cherry in the other. Fire!!!!!!!!

Welcome back, Ken! Glad to hear that you are in a better frame of mind and getting the smoke rolling. The smell of smoke rising off a pit can cure many ills.....enjoy it, buddy!
