The Weber always does a great job...

Dusted the chicken with OakRidge Secret Weapon and cooked over the coals and moved to indirect heat to finish and basted with Chiavetta's BBQ Marinade.
Corn husks were removed and cooked on indirect heat, then finished over the coals to caramelize the sugar.

I'm probably the only Brethern here that has not done corn on the grill... How long does it take?

Not long at all, 10 -15 minutes, maybe a little longer if you leave the husks on.

You can cook it in the husks to protect it from direct heat, which is how I always used to do it until someone here talked about grilling it.

For grilling, you can cook it on the indirect side if the kettle/grill until tender, then move over the coals just to lightly brown it, which is what I did.

It depends a lot on your set up. I do it basically 3 different ways on my BGE. Direct, raised direct and indirect. For direct, depending on temp, it doesn't take long at all and you better be turning it. For raised direct its 20-30 minutes and indirect can be 30-45 minutes depending on temp. Also how you prep the corn will affect cook time. Shucked, in the shuck, in the shuck and soaked in water etc,etc.... I highly recommend that you give grilled corn a try. It's incredible.

Awesome cook sir!! It's hard to beat grilled sweet corn and the chicken looks perfectly done!!! Have you ever tried mayo and chili powder on your grilled corn? That's how they do street corn across the border. It's very good. The last time I did it I also added Plowboy's Yardbird.....VERY good! Thanks for posting.

Thanks SGH, That's very good info as I cook all three for different meats/recipes. "Direct" for Ribeyes, "Raised Direct" for my Meadow Creek Chicken and "Indirect" for my Weber Grill Chicken and Pork Loins. Thank you!!!

I've heard people rave about it, but didn't know what the ingredients were. Thanks for the info, I will try that next time. If I am correct, they slather it inside the husks and roast on the grate? or do you do it without the husk?

They roast it in the husk, peel the husk back and caramelize it then slather on the mayo and sprinkle with chili powder. The peeled back husk works as a handle so you can walk and eat.
