This was really good, but waaaaaaaaaaaay more than I could eat, I maybe made it about 2/3's of the way. I actually baked bread on the Weber Kettle, never did that before. Anyway, here is my take on a big farkin' meatball sandwich:

This was the majority of the ingredients along with some Italian sausage and ground beef;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20004_zpsixypjrck.jpg
Diced up the vegies and saute'd those;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20006_zpszwdr8gz7.jpg
Added in the garlic and the Pesto;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20007_zpsc5m6ctgz.jpg
Once this cooled down, mixed all the meatball ingredients together;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20015_zpsqqxsuoox.jpg
Put that in the fridge while I worked on the rest. I had some dough left from this cook; http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/showthread.php?t=210430, so I infused some Italian herbs and sharp cheddar;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20008_zpsvvbqwjvs.jpg
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20009_zpsdlhgznco.jpg
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20010_zpsthfq0kuw.jpg
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20013_zpsgetusl1j.jpg
Dressed this up and onto the Kettle;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20016_zpszcwqccqk.jpg
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20017_zpsvojqiwyp.jpg
After 20 minutes;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20020_zpsqye2jqg0.jpg
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20021_zpsroczb0oe.jpg
Good thing I checked on it, any longer and it would have been toast(pun intended :shock:). And a shot of inside, you can see the herbs and cheese;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20024_zps8kgzlqmq.jpg
Made up the meatballs and lined them up in my new basket;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20025_zpsoypz3whx.jpg
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20026_zpsvh1fcb7e.jpg
On to the Kettle;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20028_zpsczhyo0t7.jpg
Saute'd up some shrooms for the sandwich;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20030_zps4fwypfj9.jpg
The meatballs coming along nicely;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20034_zpslohufoum.jpg
And now the assembly;
Split the bread and spread on some garlic butter, and in the oven for a few minutes;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20036_zpstfc0x6yn.jpg
some Marinara;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20037_zpsstvnhuec.jpg
Some Provolone;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20038_zpsqtdlifzv.jpg
Pepperoni;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20039_zpsf2xocfxe.jpg
Shrooms;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20040_zpsg09av1it.jpg
Meatballs;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20041_zpsl8ky3q2z.jpg
Mozzarella;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20042_zps2gdsap1z.jpg
Some Parmesan and in the oven again;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20043_zpsznqyloo6.jpg
Some peppers and parsley;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20044_zpsifhwnh9v.jpg
A little more sauce;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20046_zpsudsb22qb.jpg
Close it up;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20047_zpsddjs9yyq.jpg
A couple of plate shots;
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20048_zpssptzw4lq.jpg
http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/bbq2eat/Meatball%20sandwich%20053_zpsqidwzv3w.jpg
And I loved it very tasty, and very filling.

You can see a bunch of other great dishes at the throwdown here; http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/showthread.php?t=209392.

Thanks for looking all!

Keep on Qing,

KC

Awesome!!!!! Great work on the bread!

Thanks ACarke44 and Decoy205. Baking the bread was certainly the tricky part, I had no idea how even or uneven it would bake.

I'd pay 20 bucs for that about now.
