Found these the other day at the store. Clearance priced, so hard to pass up!

Got em rubbed with black ops and cayenne and put em in the Shirley around 300.

Then I got my wood delivery. Oak and hickory. Great deal from Big Steve in Fox Lake. If anyone in my area needs a smokin deal on smokin wood, hit me up. Big Steve delivers! My helper did the stacking in exchange for Minecraft time.

That's some fine looking grub brother. That is also a fine looking little helper that you have there. I agree 100% with your last statement. The Shirley pits are beyond great. I love mine.

Thanks guys! Yes, I'm really proud of him. Lately we've been talking about taking pride in what you do, and doing any job you take on as well as you possibly can, because that job reflects on you and who you are. Seems like he took it to heart. He must have spent 2 hours stacking and restacking that wood for the right fit.

I don't mean to be negative but I see a major flaw/problem. Frankly, I'm dissappionted.

There's no way you'll have any leftovers to bring into work on Monday. Come on Shag step up the output to match the Shirley I'm hungry.

:) Looks great as always.

Thanks Jeanie!

It is brand new, actually! Any excuse for a new tool, right? I went out and bought a lighter one so the kids could swing it too. It's a 4 1/2 lb, my other is an 8... I actually really enjoy the lighter one a lot.

Looks great Shagdog, your posts are gonna make time fly by while I'm waiting for October Shirley build.

Question the splits you have. How much wood is that in the full rack picture and how long do you expect that will carry you? I'm thinking about setting up a rack and buying wood now so it has the warm Arizona summer to dry and be ready for the late fall.

The rack is 8ft wide and about 6'6" tall. It's about a face cord and a half. I expect it to last me the summer hopefully.
