The wife and I were at publix the other day and looking in the meat section we saw something called pork shoulder blade steaks, at $2/lb....for that price i said lets try it! Turned out to be an amazing decision! Grilled them up in the warmer with some green beans. A wonderful meal for the 3 of us.

On the plate ready to eat! It turned out so delicious...especially since it was my first time making them. I didnt make enough green beans though, it looked like enough til i took them off the grill haha

its so versatile....before i got it i had plans to buy a grill dome for grilling and pizzas and whatnot...but after seeing charredaprons pizza thread in his warmer and using the warmer as a grill....i'd say im all set...i do need to get a piece of expanded metal and sit it up on some screws for the charcoal pan...i think i need some air underneath it

Great looking pork steak you got there. I grilled 3 of the thick ones the last time we had them. Got two suppers and two lunches out of them for Mrs. Slick and myself. Of course she is not the carnivore I am. :biggrin1:

Those look fantastic!
You might say they're Texas-sized country style ribs.

Making the charcoal basket is s simple fix. It's on my list of mods along with the exhaust cover you bought. Paul used to include the expanded metal. I'm not sure why he stopped.

They look really good, pork steaks are very popular for grilling over here but you don't often see them that big.
