Another tractor rim breakfast from my last camp trip. I make these chops pretty often when camping, they feed a crowd and I relax for the rest of the day. Everyone can fend for themselves if they are still hungry. :-D

started a skillet of fried tatoes and onions...

then the biscuits...

seasoned some pork chops, dipped in an egg/milk wash then dredged in flour...

fried til golden then moved onto the grate to catch some smoke and finish cooking...

made gravy with the drippings...

I'm not much of a breakfast person other than coffee in the AM but I can eat that everyday. Yummy as always Jeanie.

Me too Sako, I can't think about eating in the morning when I'm home. I'm not awake enough. :-D
By the time I get the fire going and everything cooked when camping, I'm kind of hungry. I think it's the aroma of the chops that make my tummy growl. lol Thanks Sako! :-D

:-D Very true. About the only time I enjoy breakfast is when I'm on vacation, camping etc. Basically on special occasion when I have time. Other than that really nothing in the morning but coffee. BTW they are making my tummy growl right now. Not good to eat anything at this hour. :rolleyes:

I sure hope those you are feeding at those camp cooks take care of the clean up after all the work you do so they can eat like royalty! Another amazing feed by Jeanie. :thumb::clap:

I have a good buddy who lives on a houseboat in the summer. He often camps at beaches with fire pits similar to Cowgirl's. He is a pretty good outdoor cook. I am sending him this link immediately!

Only difference is, the chops are changed out with Black-tailed deer steaks. Every thing else the same, Yummy!! :-D Jeanie, you really out did yourself on this one. Bravo! Thanks Dave! :-D Chuckwagons are nice but too much trouble. I like to travel light. Well sort of light.... The tractor rim is easy to tip up to roll where I need it but it's can be a pain loading it into the back of the pickup.

It's pubic Jason.... A very small lake in the NW corner of the state. This one is Ft Supply. Sometimes I go to Salt Plains. There aren't many options in my area. :becky:
