Can I season my drum?

I got a new 30 gallon from Zoro tools (rust inhibitor lining) and did a burnout along with a weed burner on the outside. The outside matched what I've seen others looks like but what about the inside. Am I okay to season or does it need to be shiny?

spray some PAM on the inside, or wipe down the inside with cooking oil, load up the charcoal basket with some wood and charcoal and let er rip!

That's what I needed, thanks! I got it rubbed down and the temp is rising.

If you feel it's needed, spray the inside with Olive oil and let it burn.

It will help with seasoning and help the barrel all at the same time!
