I am using the Cyber Q with a UDS. The clip on mine probe broke, so I replace that with a new one, but now the threading came apart above the clip and doesn't stay attached. BBQ Guru charges $25 for a new one and $7.51 is the cheapest shipping option. That is ridiculous for something that light.

Any suggestions or options to somehow rig a different contraption to make it work better. The one I have broke in less then a year, so I don't feel like constantly paying these guys every year for a part that couldn't cost over $5. Is there anywhere else to buy one that fits?

Thanks in advance

Some folks use a small potatoe or foil. I've seen a wine cork used too. The maverick clip may work and I saw one on ebay just a few days ago for $7.
