I'm going to pull out my weber kettle for the first time this year.

Will do some pulled chicken and ribs... also going to work through putting together a good few sauce recipes i've collected over the last few days.

03-20-2015, 08:32 AM
I have 2 10lb pork butts and 10lbs of leg quarters planned for tomorrow, maybe a slab of spares as well.

03-20-2015, 08:38 AM
Have some company tomorrow; beef ribs, pork ribs, pork loin, wings and some fig/goat/bacon wrapped Jalaps. I figure a little sampling of meats is a good way to go ;)

03-20-2015, 09:31 AM
I have a hankering for some smoked wings. I am going to smoke 'em till just done then fry for a few minutes to crisp the skin up, the toss in some rub, no sauce

03-20-2015, 09:40 AM
Happy Friday Phu. Up in the air for me this weekend. I've got a corned beef that may find its way into a smoker, but it is my anniversary weekend (23 years) and the rain doesn't look like it is going to make for much fun outdoor cooking.

03-20-2015, 09:43 AM
Looking at doing some leg quarters and wings. Who knows what else will end up on the grates. Probably a couple of naked fatty's too.

03-20-2015, 10:33 AM
Saturday night gonna throw a butt on the WSM for an overnighter! Haven't had pulled pork in awhile. One of my favorites and so versatile.

03-20-2015, 10:52 AM
Busy weekend. Got to work on the farm house and NCAA bball is rock chalkin! MLS game....hmm...what can I squeeze in? Short ribs on the BGE perhaps? I think yes.

03-20-2015, 10:57 AM
Got some ribeyes (both beef and pork) I need to cook up. That's two meals. HDD wings sound good. So does Uncle Ray's Spicy Grilled Marinated Pork (http://www.slapyodaddybbq.com/2012/09/uncle-rays-spicy-grilled-marinated-pork/). Hmmm... I think I am just hungry. It all sounds good...

No smoking this weekend for a rare change. Got my Blackstone Pizza Oven assembled, made some 00 Cuputo dough and setting in the fridge, some San Marzano Tomato, fresh Mozz, basil & the warrior's homemade Italian sausage. This weekend its . . . .

- repeat

or as they say at the Rum Boggie Cafe in Memphis:

Steaks cooked on apple wood scraps Sunday.

Direct smoked chicken in the WSM Saturday. No water pan over hickory and apple coals. (I have all my apple trimmings from last year to use up )

03-20-2015, 12:16 PM
Maybe looking for a good deal on a packer for Saturday. If not maybe pulled pork. Saturday is supposed to be 60 around here so something is going on the UDS.

03-20-2015, 12:19 PM
Definitely gonna grill up some pork steaks for dinner tomorrow night.
Considering doing a pastrami this weekend, but since I haven't started soaking, that may not happen. Haven't done pastrami yet and all the pastrami pron is KILLING ME!

03-20-2015, 12:25 PM
Nuthin, just working on my propane wok cooker, maybe next weekend.

03-20-2015, 02:11 PM
I'm going to take a shot at smoking some chicken thighs, but in a competition style, trying for that uniform look. I am just a backyard smoker, so it is really to see if I can do it, and to impress the wife..:heh:

Also, going with a variation of Chris Lilly's white BBQ sauce to go with them.

03-20-2015, 02:16 PM
Back at ya there Phu!

Not too sure round here, thinking on some smoked meatloaf.

03-20-2015, 02:54 PM
I'm thinking maybe ribs on Saturday with some ABTs and then pulled chicken on Sunday.

03-20-2015, 04:53 PM
Smoked turkey breast Saturday and pork tenderloin on Sunday.

03-20-2015, 05:45 PM
I'll be "smokin" all weekend. I will also be cooking a couple of butts on the Stump's.

03-20-2015, 08:51 PM
Pork, brisket, ribs, and chicken. Contest cook.

03-20-2015, 10:27 PM
Sweet italian sausage (store), picnic shoulder, and i'm really in the mood for wings drenched in Frank's. It's been a loooong time since I did some wings cuz there was no snow on the ground.

03-21-2015, 12:04 AM
Letting others cook this weekend. Stiles & Switch tionight (great!), Snow's tomorrow, hopefully Cooper's in Llano on Sunday. HopePhully can get another couple in!

Got a steal of a deal on pork tenderloin!! Tenderloin sliders for me

03-21-2015, 12:28 AM
Have to work tomorrow, but hopefully will be able to make it out to my first Grillers Anonymous meating. If I make it out, it'll be jerk wings. My third choice, couldn't find all the ingredients for my first two choices that I wanted to make.

03-21-2015, 08:18 AM
A small 10# brisket. Not sure why but this time I separated the point and flat before cooking. Maybe to get more bark.

Chicken wings and maybe I'll get some spares also if there's a request.

03-21-2015, 08:37 AM
i've got a piece of a goat leg, so i'm going to do some moroccan seasoning on it and smoke it a bit, then add some liquid along with some onions, carrots, potatoes, peppers and whatever else comes to mind and finish it. served with couscous.

03-21-2015, 08:52 AM
Just put on 4 chickens,2 butts and 3 slabs of ribs.

03-21-2015, 10:30 AM
Honey Sarracha, leg quarters on the UDS.

03-21-2015, 04:17 PM
I put some pork butts on at midnight on the FEC100. I wanted to use the assassin, but I havn't got my guru back from service yet. 3 are already off and the other 7 are just about done. These are for a wedding party for some friends of mine. Sadly I am just cooking and won't be able to partake as it is my wife's b-day and we have other plans.

03-21-2015, 05:37 PM
Its been a long time since if posted on your phriday threads. 4 racks of BB for sat. Since I got this Klose, I'm having a hard time not firing that thing up. Oh yea, hot wings on sun.

03-21-2015, 05:46 PM
Chicken wings. Lots of Chicken wing!

03-21-2015, 06:35 PM
Nothing has gone as planned this weekend so far. Wife ate some of her Korean leftovers yesterday, so the steaks are still vacuum sealed. Started raining last night and was supposed to continue through tonight, so I quick defrosted some chicken thighs and was going to bake them. Then the clouds parted a bit and I decided might as well put them on the gasser. Seasoned them with SYD's Spicy. First time trying it. It was ok. A little sweet, a little heat, needed something else. Maybe add some HDD next time. So, I guess we are having steaks tomorrow...
