View Full Version : Time adjustment for full smoker?

So I'm just about filling up my Assassin 28 tomorrow with 18 slabs of spare ribs and the tips. I usually follow the 2.5, 1.5, 1 hour method, but with a full cooker, do you think I should give them an extra half hour before I wrap? I need them done at a specific time.

A little extra time never hurt anybody but if you can keep your temp at what yoy normally cook at, shouldn't be a problem.

It's an insulated smoker, so the heat should be no problem as long as the airflow around the meat is good.

Just start a little early just in case and hold for 30mins if needed.
