I know this has been posted but couldn't find much while searching on my phone. I'm looking for outdoor cooking area pictures/ideas. I'm planning to add a roughly 12'x24' lean to on the garage. It won't be enclosed but at least it will have a roof so I can get the cookers out of the garage but they can still be shielded from rain. Would like for cement but might have to go with crushed rock due to cost.

I did a concrete brick paver pad for the pit and table area and Caliche for the rest of the floor.

Here's a post around a lot of folks' outdoor areas. I imagine you can get a TON of inspiration from trolling through these posts.

Just a thought on the crushed rock... It is inevitable that you will get juices etc. on the ground. Our wiener dog Fred, (not too smart) gets into the rock and eats them... Makes him sick... Doesn't bother me but he's the wife's dog and I get blamed for it (never understood that). I've since poured concrete and at least hosing it down seems to help "MY" problem... Whatever you do will be an awesome upgrade. Good luck!
