Thawed in fridge then dry brined for 1 day in fridge.

One plane, the other rubbed with Santa Maria Grill Seasoning dry rub by Oakridge (great stuff).


Settled the 26 OTG w/supervortex + hickory/mesquite chips in pouch + no water, looking for a L&S smoking session.

Yabba Dabba Do Dino! Georgious steaks. Love that rub too but sometime S,P and a pad of butter is king. Which steak did you prefer?
