Hi, my name is Dave, I live in sunny San Diego, and I just bought my first smoker a few weeks ago. It's a Camp chef Smoke Vault, the 24 inch model, which I quickly converted to natural gas. I did a lot of research online before my purchase, and even more before my first few cooks, and I kept ending up reading threads from this site. So I thought I'd better join up. I'm really looking forward to learning some great things here, as well as drooling over some of those pics!

Welcome to the forum Dave, glad to have you join us and hopefully take part in the other forums. I also have a 24" Camp Chef that I use for a holding oven to keep pans of food warm for serving.

If you can't find the topic you need help with, or have questions about a specific topic, just start a new thread in the related forum.

There are many members with years of experience that are willing to answer your questions and share their knowledge to guide you in the right direction. Collectively there is a wealth of experience and knowledge among the membership, including you. Don't be afraid to jump in there and share your knowledge and experiences as well.
