100 degrees today, so I wanted something that wouldn't require a lot of tending or cleanup. Grabbed a roaster yesterday to cook in the electric. The jerk sauce was a generic Kroger brand (actually a wing tossing sauce, but it cooks well too) doctored up with some butter and my regular chicken rub. Slathered it on and into the electric it went at around 300. Smoke was from the tube smoker with a fruit wood pellet mix. The beer in the beer can stand was a reduced for quick sale can of Natty Light that I had sitting in the fridge waiting for just such a cook. Chicken turned out really good, and I am already done cleaning up. Goal accomplished. Even Tinker approved (at least that's what I thought he said).

Nice color you got on that clucker, billy. Being a fan of the Kroger wing sauces I'm curious to try the jerk sauce as I've never seen it before.
