A neighbor brought over some HUGE zucchini from his garden, so I sliced up half of one and rubbed it with some EVOO and Cattleman's Tuscan steak rub.

Great looking grub there peeps! Love the caramelizing on the Zukes and the peppers. How come Tasha didn't get a rib eye too? My wife would ask "where is my rib eye"? Unfortunately she knows her cuts of meat, and would demand the same for her. :drama:

Blessings,

OmarThanks!

She prefers a leaner cut and she usually only eats half a steak. Instead, of "where's my ribeye?" when I told her I got her a smaller, leaner steak it was "awww, thanks!"

The other half of hers is gonna be chopped up and put into breakfast tacos or omelets tomorrow.

Great steaks, Peeps. My wife likes hers leaner too. What was the wine? I couldn't quite make out the label.

Great steaks, Peeps. My wife likes hers leaner too. What was the wine? I couldn't quite make out the label. It was a red blend called Triple M Blend from a local Texas winery called Rancho Ponte.

Outstanding meal!!

As I mentioned to BobBrisket, Tejas boys can cook.

And the subtle consideration of the Ladies choice steak (pun intended) is a nice touch.

Bottle of red?? "did y'all buy the classy wine sign?"

We didn't buy the sign, but did come home with a case of wine, 8 red, 4 whites.

And for those that didn't see the sign from our recent wine tour outside of Tahoe...

I didn't know they made wine in Texas. How was it? I see it has merlot in the blend but I'm not familiar with the other two grapes.
