View Full Version : Smoker Safe?

It was hard to pass this up for 10 bucks. I assume the two small pieces without the handle are smoker safe. I'm not sure about the lids or the bigger pot because it has handles.

Would you assume all of these are designed to cook over a hot campfire?

I'd like to use the smaller two for soups, chili's and beans etc...on the smokers/grill

I've seen those camp pans so dang thin that it's instant burn.

Cast iron is the cooks friend

Oh i wholeheartedly agree, I love my CI! Just for 10 bucks I figured it might come in handy whether camping or at home.

I picked up one of these for the same reason. Was loking at a cast iron bean pan but decided on this.

I think they are designed to use on their camp stoves

I picked up one of these for the same reason. Was loking at a cast iron bean pan but decided on this.

So have you used them yet grimm? I wouldn't hesitate to use the ones without handle on the grill surface but still not comfortable with the big one. Wonder what the temp tolerance is on those handles..lol
