Everyone,
I got an extra fridge and am going to turn it into a curing chamber to make different types of salumi. Does anyone have good experience with any of the following type of devices?
External temperature controller
Ultrasonic room humidifier - 2 gallon capacity would be preferred
Hygrostat - where I can plug the humidifier into when it hits X% RH
Thermo hygrometer
I'm looking for plug and play type stuff - I'm no electrician. Anything more than drilling through the fridge and installing the rails and hangers is beyond me.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Jerry

I use the Johnson Controls A419 on a chest freezer that I use to ferment lager beers in, works great for that application.

OK, I know, you said plug and play, which these are not(except the ultra sonic 2 gal humidifier) but there are complete instructions and links to the parts. Hope it helps you somewhat..

I am planning on building one also, found some really good stuff via Google. I will see what I can pull up when I get home.

Here are a couple links I found the other day when doing some searching. I was planning on doing some kind of Raspberry PI controller with the ideas from the links below but might keep it simple to start. Still working on a Raspberry PI set up for a brewing controller but so limited with time during the summer. I have a couple of those Johnson controls and they work great!
