My Humphrey's Battlebox arrived earlier this week (Wednesday). Unfortunately we had storms roll through that night which prevented me from getting it fully up and ready. I managed to get the seasoning burn done yesterday, and today did the first cook.

I had a couple half racks of baby backs, so I fired up the smoker, slapped some rub on the ribs, and made some nice 3-2-1 ribs today.

Just coming off for wrap:

Finished (sorry it is blurry as steam was messing with the autofocus):

They came out pretty darn good especially since I didn't know this pit yet. Need to work on the smoke flavor some (it went a little too heavy because I didn't know how fast it would burn through the coals and wood in the pit).

Congrats on the new cooker! I'm partial to the red/black colors. Were you able to control the temps?

That cooker looks really nice!
And your camera is awesome.
Hope that was smoke and not steam messing w/ the lens.
Looking up Humphrey's Battlebox now....

Yeah, had no problem controlling temps (have a CyberQ). Kept them at 225 for the majority of the cook and pushed it up to 250 for the last 45 minutes (they stalled for a while at 170, the push to 250 got them over the stall).
