I see people asking about different charcoal, lump vs. briquttes, etc. & have found help in choosing in various places....

Don't think I've told this story here yet.....so............

After doin' low & slow kettle cooks for awhile, I've been using less regular Kingsford....
(Suppose I've just listened to reason of the folks who've been doin' this awhile...)
I still use it for quite a few items, but not for the long overnighters....
That job falls, usually, to Stubb's briquettes & Wicked Good lump...

The dogs somehow seem to intrinsically understand this:

Pics, meaning, it happened....

He only peed on the Kingsford....
& when I called him on him on this, he responded by announcing loudly that he preferred
the other two brands ~~~>

I have a bag of lump and Kingsford sitting outside right now. I'll check in a little bit if one got whizzed on. If the lump got it then i suppose i gotta get a new dog!

Buckie one of mine will piss on anything outside...aint no training that boy. Poor guy was born with out a fully functional brain, he rides the short bus to school while my other one rides the regular one.

So did you train yours to whiz the KBB?

My mini aussie/heeler pup loves to get the charcoal that falls out of the chimney and bring it in the house and eat it on the light colored carpet. She makes up for it by being the best grate cleaner money can by.
