Got The $6 Per Pound Brisket Blues

Stopped by our local Sam's Club for lunch and was really surprised to find several packer briskets for sale. Then I saw they averaged $72.00 apiece and it all became clear. Looks like a hot dog and hamburger weekend.

Saw the same thing at our local grocery store. I went to a local butcher / meat processor and got one for $3.99/pound.

Yesterday My local Costco was $7.49/pound and my normal market was 9.99?!?!?!? I got lucky and found it at a smaller local grocer for 4.99.
