Hello all I just purchased a used meadow creek ts120 a few weeks ago and I'm in the middle of cleaning it out but I'm having trouble getting some off the baked on grease off of the cooking racks. So I was wondering if any one has any tricks or tips off getting the grease off.

Get a weed burner and burn it off in about 10 minutes.

Blessings,

Yeah....burn it off. Or...as I do....just get a fire going and leave the pit shut for a while at cooking temp. I don't really worry about that stuff. You'd NOT like the looks of my grates after seeing those!!!

I havent used it but there are grille grate cleaners available such as Easy Off grille cleaner. Also, if you have the means to make a bonfire you could get it burning good and then just put the grate on the fire for a while. Or like Omar said, get a weed burner. Good luck.

If your power washer has a needle spray attachment, use that, I clean my grates with one after every cook.

Always had good luck with tossing them into a trash bag with some ammonia for a few days. The fumes work right into that stuff and off it comes.
