Loaded up the Traeger Sunday....
Top rack - L-R -
4 individual meaty beef ribs, rubbed with SM Cherry
2 CAB Chuckies - rubbed down with PlowBoys Bovine Bold.
Bottom rack L-R
Pork loin ribs - one with SM Cherry, the other SM Spicy Apple.
Whole rack of beef ribs - these were shiners - not a lot of meat...

The ribs were for dinner Sunday night...

One Chuckie was used in some beef stew Tuesday night.

The other chuckie I pulled for.... CHUCKIE TACOS!!!!

OK Lynn, you and Ronelle are in a conspiracy to get me to purchase a pellet pooper. Admit it. Pretty sure Nucornhusker is involved too. Looking great, Elly May!

I'm doing a chuckie (first time!) this weekend for pulled beef tacos. Can you share the recipe (rub, temps, timing, etc.? Thanks!

Good luck!!
These were rubbed with Bovine Bold - nice spice, but not too much for me. Just use whatever your favorite beef rub is.

Cooked in the 250 range till the IT was about 165 - then I wrapped them in foil till they were probe tender.
Let them sit a while and pulled them while they were still warm.

The one I used for beef stew I left whole, then when I made my stew I tossed it whole on top of the potatoes, carrots, onions, and mushrooms. Added some beef broth, covered the whole mess in foil and tossed it into a 350 degree oven for about 2 hours. The chuckie was so tender it pulled really nicely. Would have worked well cubing them as well.
