Thinking of getting one of these but would like to hear what others who own them think of them? Are they really worth the money?

I don't have one but did some research on them and everyone that has them seem to love them. They are a high quality product with a first rate controller. Very versatile unit from my understanding but I am not sure about the smoke output on them. I am sure someone here will jump in for you.

I have a Memphis Pro and love it! It will cook at anywhere from 180 - 650 degrees and is very even across the cooking surface. The firebox is double wall so it holds temp well in any kind of weather. It also has a dual pellet hopper so you can run two different flavors of pellets if you want to.

I also have a Pro and love it. This thing is high quality with a rock solid controller that keeps temps incredibly consistent. While I have not tried the two different flavor pellets like is mentioned below, the pellet hopper capacity is huge and I can do several cooks before refilling.

The cooker is pricey, but in my mind WAY head and shoulders above the large Big Green Egg that I got rid of. The Egg served me very well, but the pellet pooper in the Memphis Pro configuration is really a nice unit.

Cooked on one many times... also does well in baking, too!. [jalapeno cornbread mod].

We don't have one. But have cooked on one and did some hands on research testing heat times etc. Well made and all pellet grills are light on smoke output. The Memphis Pro the smoke exits out the back the entire width of the cooker which makes it appear to have a low smoke output. It is one of the top tier pellet cookers

I could not be happier with a more reliable grill/smoker. This is my most utilized pit out of the 5 I have. Even my wife uses this and she doesn't bbq at all. This is an investment you will never regret.

All of your comments are very much appreciated. Now just to dig up the scratch to buy one.

I have an advantage and love it. I find that if I want more smoke flavor if I up my cook time a bit and start at the lowest setting for a few hours I get plenty. I only do that for brisket and butts. Chicken and ribs seem to be perfect just the way it is. Keep your feelers out for used they do pop up from time to time
