View Full Version : Home fries
Well, it's my job to cook the home fries for Easter breakfast this year. I was considering seasoning them with a bbq rub. Anyone try this? Not asking about any rub in particular, just the idea of it.

Sounds good to me. Give Plowboys Yardbird a try. Its made for chicken and pork (mild flavored meats), should be good on potatoes.

Plowboys WILL be good. I've used on everything scrambled eggs to corn on the cob
Thanks! I'll give it a shot.

I do it almost every weekend. I would suggest a sugarless or at least a very low sugar rub.

I do that a the time. Change up the seasoning every time I do it. I love them that way.

We fry them up and then sprinkle Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning on them as soon as they come out of the grease. It really adds flavor deep into the fry being still hot.

Same here, Tony Chachere's is great on fries.

Whip Smokin Guns HotnSpicy into mayo.
Don't argue, just do it.
