I've heard don't buy enhanced or meat in a solution.

I've heard brine your meat in solution. In both cases the solution seems to be the same. Water and salt. So what's the big difference?

For the record, I prefer my meat free of any solution. http://forums.colts.com/public/style_emoticons /default/ninja.gif

I think it depends on the meat. For example win turkeys, many like to brine them with a flavor brine. You wouldn't want to brine an enhanced. It would be like a double brine. With ribs, I hear enhanced are often hammy

Yep, and I like to control what is used. Besides bringing to enhance moisture, I also add flavor to the brine.
