Anybody else think the light sensor could be more sensitive?

I love this thing but sometimes I'd like to force the light on. Anybody have a trick for this? Just cupping my hand around the LED doesn't work.

Mine seems to be ok. It take a second for the backlight to kick in when going from really light to dark. My backlit one doesn't read in tenths like my non backlit model does. Not sure the difference there.

You might want to try this to change to reading tenths Plowin

I just went and checked mine by cupping it with my hand and it worked every time.
Give them a call. Mine reads the air temperature about 10 degrees off right now. I did read that it's not supposed to be accurate that way though.

Mine works just fine. No lag whatsoever. Give them a call youll get a replacement in no time. Doesnt sound right.

Plowin fire. You need to enable the tenth reading in the battery compartnent.
