This monster, Chucky, came to my house. http://www.kamadoguru.com/public/style_emoticons/default/icon_e_surprised.gif

While I was preparing to cook something he broke out of his constraints and I had to defend myself.

I grabbed a knife and cut him in two.
http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5526/12277962855_13ec39a78e_z.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/110664273@N04/12277962855/)
This slowed him down but he kept coming. The right side was obviously the stronger side so I threw hot sauce in his face!

This slowed him down but he kept coming so I threw steak seasoning, ground coriander and ground chipotle chili pepper in his face.
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7351/12278389614_47a8886602_z.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/110664273@N04/12278389614/)
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7316/12278096763_f427ceea3c_z.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/110664273@N04/12278096763/)
This blinded the little devil and I was able to return both halves to their constraints.
http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3789/12278368354_874845c064_z.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/110664273@N04/12278368354/)
I put the left half in the fridge thinking the cold would allow me to deal with it at a later time. The right half was still defiant and was yelling obscenities at me. Just as I was about to place a gag over its mouth it yelled, “EAT ME”, to me. My anger got the best of me and I did as I was told. I lite up the kamado.
http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3756/12277940115_89f7749dde_z.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/110664273@N04/12277940115/)
And threw him on once it had reached temperature. (250)
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7449/12277933465_fb9a62ff29_z.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/110664273@N04/12277933465/)
Not wanting to eat plain Chucky I broke out some veggies to chop up.
http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3786/12278357244_ded84cff8d_z.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/110664273@N04/12278357244/)
Once I had chopped up the veggies I sprinkled on 1 tsp. of ground chipotle chili pepper. Then I poured in 1/4 cup of Worcestershire Sauce and 1 Stockyard Oatmeal Stout.

After the little fellas carcass had reached and internal temperature of 165 I placed him on the bed of veggies.
http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3718/12280409404_3d63f4e6a8_z.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/110664273@N04/12280409404/)

I then covered the pan with foil and placed it back on the kamado along with some appetizers. I cranked up the temp to 325 and let it cook for another 2 hours.

I then made up some Salsa Fresca.
http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3733/12280102753_e761d68644_z.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/110664273@N04/12280102753/)
After 35 minutes on the kamado I removed the appetizers. (These were so good)
http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3784/12279938655_2508ed1eb0_z.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/110664273@N04/12279938655/)
After 2 hours the IT was 209 so I removed the foil.

And pulled the carcass apart and let it cook for another hour to reduce the liquids.
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7403/12280653766_aa0773290b_z.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/110664273@N04/12280653766/)
Here it is ready to eat.
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7299/12280099395_5a77583b64_z.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/110664273@N04/12280099395/)

I warmed up some tortillas and proceeded to make tacos out of the little fella.

And enjoyed them with a Stockyard Oatmeal Stout.

This night was a nightmare and it was nip and tuck whether I was going to make it out alive but I prevailed in THE END! :becky:

sequels usually suck but I can't wait for Chucky pt.2. If it is anything like pt.1 it'll be awesome!

I miss Ol' Chucky. Sure he can be mouthy at times, but it looks like you handled him well.

Looks fantastic! I mean seriously drool worthy fantastic.

I like chipotle powder too... Never thought about adding coriander. What flavor does ground coriander add for you? Do you think cumin would be a good addition?

Thanks. It added a bit of a citrus flavor. I would have added cumin instead of coriander but I was out of cumin.

As I stated above, this was my first time doing it this way but I've used it for stew & chili lots of times. Great stuff. Check out "The Chucky Challenge!"
in the Throwdown form above for lots of great ideas.
