Who knew veggies could taste good?? Well, there was cheese involved..
Grilled portabella mushrooms, grilled red peppers and onions, provolone cheese and garlic bread Panini.

Portabella counts as meat, right? Ronelle said so, anyway. :thumb::thumb:

Hey, I ate some rice for lunch, I'm covered. Would rather have one of those sammies though.

That looks really good. I love mushrooms so I'd be more than willing to eat that.

Portobellos are tops but there are lots of other veggies that benefit greatly from grilling. Hardly a cook goes by that I don't do some veggies along with the meat. (Even when the meat is portobellos.)

Who besides me cleans the fins off of the portos, then marinates them in Balsamic , garlic and EVOO grills them but dries the fins and uses them as mock black truffles in mashed potatoes? It works.
