In Vegas, Memphis Championship BBQ is owned by Mike Mills. It's pretty good for restaurant BBQ.

Also, this place...

Was featured on Diners Drive-ins and Dives and looked cool. I haven't been back to Vegas to try it, however.

Not BBQ, but we loved this place...

It's a hole in the wall type place but great cajun food.

Not a lot of BBQ options in Vegas. My favorite is a place called Rollin Smoke (http://rollinsmokebarbeque.com/). Big Ern's (http://www.bigernsbbq.com/) BBQ in downtown Las Vegas is also decent.

Not sure yet on where we are staying in Denver, I am sure it will be along the interstate corridor though.

I saw part of that diner n dive show but missed the name. Looked good to me too so we will hit that too.
Thanks for that one.

I lived in Vegas for years before heading to the east coast...great Q is a little hard to come by but when we left a few years back, the Red Rock Casino in Summerlin had an outpost of The Salt Lick from Texas. I enjoyed it but I can't tell you how it compares to the original.

Also, while it's probably a little frowned upon by many here on the board (probably deservedly so) there is a Lucille's restaurant in Henderson next to the Green Valley Ranch. I know...i know...But it's decent food and usually good service.

Not a lot of options, certainly near the I70 corridor. Yazoos is north of downtown. Boneys is located downtown. Both are decent by Denver standards. It's not a real high bar here unfortunately. Great beer though.

A good friend of mine used to live in vegas. He searched high and low for years and never found it. He moved from there a few years ago so something may have changed.

+1 on Grimaldi's, you know when you go for lunch at 2 PM and they tell you it will be an hour before they can cook pizza because because they just cleaned out the old coals and were just starting the fire...

Really good pizza out of Brooklyn, meatball was superb.
