I have that exact knife along with a 10" carving knife and a 12" cimeter... Love them all but use the 6" boning knife the most. :thumb:

I also use that boning knife and the slicer they make. Excellent purchase.

I have the boning knife, 12in graton slicer, 8in chef, 7in santoku, and 10in bread from victornix. They are great knives for someone on a limited budget.

For trimming meat, that boning knife makes quick work of anything I do. i'm sure you will enjoy it.

They are great for any budget. When I was a professional meat cutter and butcher that's all we used.I've used on a daily basis and resharpened so much that the blade got too tiny to use. That's when we use them for skinning deer cape mounts.

That's exactly what I need...a good knife for all trimming with the ability to make quick work of a brisket being the benchmark. Hmm...

make sure you have a decent steel to hone your blade up. You want it razor sharp when you start cutting.

That's the one I use, and I've enjoyed it. Works well for boning out butts, and works well for trimming the fat. Easy to sharpen as well.

The 6" straight blade boning knife was included in the set I recieved last week.
The ones I've used, so far, are really nice.
