Hello all,
Once again, I will be heading out to Delaware for training. Actually I'll be making several trips there this spring, starting in January.

Need advise from you brethren. I'm considering taking my family and driving out from Nebraska in the middle of January. For those of you who know what winter is like, is this a bad idea? I'm coming out Jan 13th-24. The drive doesn't bother me, it is the unknown about the weather and the roads.

Your opinions and advise is much appreciated!

The roads where you will be driving while you are here will be fine. Between here and there may be a different story.
Delaware is pretty flat, and DelDot does a pretty good job of getting things cleared. It's the other drivers you need to worry about.

Well, today the weather sucks. 3-9 inches of snot depending on where you are. I hear the roads are less then pristine, which means a lot of folks around here don't know how to drive...
Here is the forecast for Newark over the next few weeks... looks like you are bringing nicer weather with you this time.
